#2 Emma Smith

Emma is 14 years old and is a freshman at Pike County High School.  She is a slap batter and a great bunter.  She has tremendous speed and is great at base running.  She primarily plays center and left field.  Emma played softball and ran track in middle school and was also a member of the yearbook staff.

#5 Taylor Beigle

Taylor is 14 years old and is a Freshman at East Coweta High School. She is a pitcher for the East Coweta  JV Indian Softball Team and will graduate in 2022. Her JV softball Team was undefeated this season with a 12-0 record only allowing 9 runs in the 2018 season. She is a right handed pitcher and when not on the mound likes to play first base. She has great ball spin and movement on her pitches which keeps batters off balance. When not on the field she is a volunteer softball coach at the rec dept. She currently holds a 3.9 GPA and is a member of FCA.

#7 SHELBY DUNCAN

Shelby is a c/o 2022 student at Pike County High School where she holds a 4.0 GPA. She is also an FCA leader and a manager for the PCHS Wrestling program. She is also very involved in the youth program at her church. Shelby is primarily a middle infielder with great range but also a solid third baseman. She has a strong bat from the right side and good speed on the bases. She is a great teammate who cares for her teammates on and off the field.

Hannah is a 8th grader at Strong Rock Christian School.  Hannah has been with APD since the team was founded in the Fall of 2015. Hannah is a great middle infielder with a strong arm. She is also a great outfielder. Hannah is a right handed hitter with good power and also a great bunt. She is also a great baserunner with good speed.

Morgan attends Social Circle High School where she maintains a 4.0 GPA and was named MVP on her JV Softball Team for the 2018 season. She played on the Varsity Softball Team as well, lettered as a Freshman, and won the state AA Championship.  She has been with APD since September 2016.  Morgan is a right handed pitcher who spins the ball very well.  She is a power hitter from the right side.  Morgan is also a multi sport athlete. Along with softball, she also plays basketball and soccer for her middle school. Morgan also has a twin sister.

 

#12 RYLEE METZ

Rylee is a 14 year old Freshman at Walnut Grove High School.  She is a member of The Junior Beta Club and The Duke Tip Program.  She won the 2016 Presidential Volunteer Service Award, and was crowned 2015 Junior Miss Grayson, 2016 Pre-Teen Miss Grayson, and 2018 Teen Miss Grayson. She currently has a 4.0 grade point average. She is a catcher for the Lady Warriors at Walnut Grove High School and plays 3rd base for Atlanta Premier Deyton/Duncan. She finished her middle school career with a .825 fielding percentage with 119 chances , a .368 batting average, and .386 OBP with 49 games played.  With Atlanta Premier Deyton/Duncan she batted .279 with a .389 on base percentage 23 RBIs, 14 runs, and 20 walks.  She also threw out 25% of base runners.

Grace Folds is a freshman at Walnut Grove High School. She is actively involved in her school through the softball and track programs, the Beta Club, and FCA. Strong work ethic has earned her a 4.0 GPA on an honors track. She earned the Warrior Award in 2017 for leadership on and off the field. She is a true utility player- playing 3rd base for her junior varsity team and 2nd base and centerfield for her varsity team. Walnut Grove High School’s 2018 season was a success with the JV team experiencing the most wins recorded in the history of the program and the varsity team making their 6th consecutive appearance at the Elite 8 in their bid for a state title. She lettered as a freshman. While Grace prefers 3rd base and short stop she will play wherever the team needs her. She is known for speed on the field and on the bases. She has a strong bat and recorded a .471 batting average for the year.

Steahl is 14 years old and is a freshman at Northwest Whitfield High School. She is a pitcher for the Lady Bruins JV softball team. When not on the mound you can find her at first base and on occasion behind the plate as a pinch catcher. She is an honor roll student and an active member of Family Career Community Leaders of America. In addition to softball, she participates in Track and Field where she placed first in her region for Discus last season. When not on the dirt you will find her in the woods hunting and riding four wheelers or on the lake fishing.

Kendall is an honor roll student at Woodland Middle School with perfect attendance her entire school career.  Kendall has been with APD since the team was founded in the Fall of 2015. She is a right handed hitter with great speed. Her primary positions are second base and outfield. Kendall also particapates on the dance team and plays volleyball for Woodland Middle.

#18 MOLLY WIGGINS

Molly plays for the Woodstock JV softball team and is the starting pitcher. She is on the Duke TIP, Beta Club, Honor Roll, and the Merit List. She joined Atlanta Premier Duncan in the fall of 2017 and has been a huge contributor since day one.  A dominant right handed pitcher with a strong bat. Molly is a multi sport athlete and very tough competitor

Belle is 13 years old and attends Bremen Middle School where she obtained a 3.5 GPA.  She donates her time as a Sunday School teacher for children 8 and under and cherishes her time with friends and playing softball.  Belle is an eager coachable athlete and hopes to continue playing throughout high school and at the collegiate level.

#24 SUSANNA (APPLE) LOWE

Apple is 14 years old and is a Freshman at Greater Atlanta Christian. She has been with APD since 2016.  She is the second of four sisters.  Apple is an aggressive catcher who also accels in the outfield. A strong arm and good speed make her a great right fielder. She is a right handed hitter who can hit for power and also bunt well. Apple also participates in competitve cheerleading.

Brooke is a 13 year old 8th grader with straight As and is in enrolled in all accelerated classes. She has been with APD since August 2017.  She has 4 career Homeruns  She is a member of the “Bee Kind” club and is a member of FCA.  She is 5’7″ 160 lbs.  As a 12 year old she received the “Best Offensive Player” award for the 14U age group at the University of Georgia  summer camp. Brooke is a right handed power hitter and a great corner player.

Sydney is a 14 year old 9th grader at Upson Lee High School in Upson County.  She is an active member of FCA and FFA where she has been an officer for the past two years.  She is a left handed catcher and 1st baseman, while being a right handed power hitter.  Sydney was a starter as a freshman on both the JV and Varsity softball teams at Upson Lee High School, while maintaining a 3.7 GPA in honors classes.  She finished the season with a .243 batting average, a .349 OBP, and a fielding percentage of .940.
